Not sure about a kubota but sometimes valve cover leaks can be fixed by snugging up the bolts a little.

The gaskets shrink and dry out over time. A little more pressure on them is sometimes all they need.

never changed one on Kubota, but don't see it as any different than any valve cover

pull it, scrape and clean all old material from head and cover.
check for flat on cover where bolt holes are (they can be over torqued and distorted) ...tap/ballpeen flat if necessary

install new gasket, tighten bolts in a star pattern and don't over torque

Super easy. Just 10lb of torque is needed on the bolts and scrape the burned gasket off the block near the exhaust manifold.
