I'd like to apologize to anybody who was offended by my comments made in regards to kids with "special needs" here on Sunday night.

My views are on the extreme side and I very much regret that the conversation between Jerry "Cu" Valentine and myself was not taken offline.
Words and their meanings got misconstrued and feelings very hurt as the result.


Jerry, again, I'm sorry we don't see eye to eye on this and I'm very sorry and now embarrassed on how I chose to express myself.



and I would like to think that if an atheist can be married to a Jehovah's Witness for 28 years, than you and I can still be friends. And I would also like to think that I'm not the cruel hearted bastard that I came across as in our heated debate. You came in swinging, and I unfortunately, swung back when I should have just picked up the phone.

























and yes, Cu and I have already talked this over in person.

I think what some don't know or don't remember is that your statements are also influenced by the suffering your mother is going through will all of her diminishing health issues.
Not that it makes any difference with Cu but at least others can see where you are coming from with your statements.
