I figure someone on here will know about appliances.

I have a Fridigidaire Gallery in-counter cooktop/oven - model #FES367CEBF

It's about 9 yrs old.

It'll start beeping and the display starts blinking F-3.

Anybody know what to check or what needs replaced?

Thanks

if it is electric..check the elements in the oven or on the top....one is burnt..more then likely it is in the oven....

if it is gas...check the ignitor...

The manual just says fault detected and that you should push cancel to clear and reprogram the oven. and see if it continues to throw a code.
http://www.frigidaire.com/manuals?model=FES367CEBF

A search for the fault codes indicates F3 is the "Open oven temperature sensor "
http://www.repairclinic.com/Fault-Codes#Frigidaire4

and to:

Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

part numbers here

http://lookup.bellparts.com/lookup/43768/244203

looks like:
Probe-oven Temp (Replaces: 316111203)
Part #: 316490001

17-$20 at online parts stores...or $40 at sears

F1 is an internal short detected inside the control board while the F3 is a faulty oven sensor. Chances are the internal short in the board from the F1 is causing the F3 error code. I would replace the display board first and if you still have an F3 error then replace the oven sensor. Here is a link to where you can order the display board if you want.
