As recent webinars have mentioned, new products are sometimes brought about because of regulatory pressure, raw materials becoming unavailable, etc. The new product may not even work as well as the old! Switching to something just because it's newer is a poor strategy....

I used the original flex liquid for a long time an only switched to the powder because i couldn't stand the smell of it any longer.

I still use traffic slam on occasion. fab set also on certain things.

cobbs power max, hasn't that been around for a while?

Thanks Pat for chiming in on ink exit. I will be testing your product shortly. Going to test it on ball point pen ink.

The chemistry sounds alot like dye loc used for oriental rugs. not says it is. but the fact that it makes the ink coagulate into tiny droplets instead of dispersing and making a bigger mess.

Just because a product has been around a long time doesn,t mean it hasn't been reformulated. I used to use chemspec formula 90 powder and formula 77 liquid 30 years ago. They have been reformulated several times. Now they are lower Ph and less agressive than they used to be. Probably safer but less effective if you considering burning the soil off carpets effective. Today we have much different carpets and all manufacturers have had to adapt.

I doubt there are any products that haven't changed over the years. I still rinse with fiber plus from bridgepoint. Seems like over 20 years.

Scott, whats your opinion of running cleanfree thru the chem pump? That stuff works very good and doesn't smell like booty hole.

I've got that Chemspec Rust remover and haven't had the chance to try it yet.
I Usually use T-Rust but figured I'd give this a shot.
