Separating personal life from the business.

One gets so involved that it can be hard to draw the line.

motivating myself to do what I should be doing

selfishness/laziness

after 50 years of trying with little improvement,(though hope springs eternal, and i never give up completely )
I've learned to find ways around character flaws
Most notably, by doing/focusing more on the things I do/can do well

This year it has been cash flow due to my unfortunate injury. With the lost income, hospital bills and Truckmount maintenance and repairs, it took me until just a week ago to catch up on bills and start saving for winter. I'm about a month behind and it might burden me big time this winter.

Implementation!!

So many ideas, so little implemented over the past 8 years.

If I did that, that would rectify all the other close seconds.

I never imagined getting customers would be so darn hard. My good commercial customers take months to cultivate and residential customers have some price shopping whores. Really been racking my brain when this be starting our busy time.

getting residential customers but then again I have never really tried, commercial work just seems to fall in my lap for some reason but doesn't pay enough at times but it is consistant repeating work

the other day I bid $658 for a little over 4300 sq ft of carpet, this included moving about 50 plastic chair mats, chairs, a couple of couches and moving/replacing everything when done, then include in the bid was a strip and wax of the breakroom @ $.50 sq ft that included moving several tables and the chairs that go with it

$883 total

was out bid by service master by more then a couple of $100
