Thinking about picking up a used apo.

Just trying to figure out HOW it will actually help to dispose of waste water. I mean, you still have to have some where to put it.

Other than, custys lawn, her toilet or a sewer cleanout (uncommon here) what else will I be able to do? How do you use yours? What do the large franchises do?

Is the basket filter in the tank good enough for the apo? Will I also need an in line filter?

How difficult to install? Doesn't seem difficult, it's already got a switch on the tm for it(apo).

Thanks...

I have mine hooked up on a live reel. Exactly like Jim Martins. Of course it will work with just basket. But you might hate how often you have to clean out he check valves in the APO. As far as where the waste goes. You really don't have a problem. 20 gallon at a time seems to soak up easy. Even a small flower bed will work.

what pump out will determine how much filtration is required.

as a former plumber, 4" sewer cleanouts are required within 18'-2' of of home, in NY anf FL. often sewer will be opposite side as water, and often will be a s on the curb to indicate.

dry soil is usually norm, legal here

Will the lint that gets by my filter basket clog up the clean out? Or is it something that I don't need to worry about?

You would be better off using an inline lint filter in your vacuum hose before it gets to your recovery tank. Although, I don't own one, I have heard and seen nothing but rave reviews about the devastator filter. I think you should look into it. You should never be having excess lint going into your tank. It clogs up your blower filter and causes your tank to smell like a sewer.

Make sure you get a powerful one. A couple I tried in the 90's were incapable of defeating the suction so they wouldn't pump anything.
