My old iPhone 3g is still rocking down in Central America. My wife and kids have the 10 and 11 models. No problems. Both kids got iPad minis in 2014. They both still work. They compare Apple to being in a cult. Join us Mikey.

lol...I still have 3 iphones (me/wife/kid) and an Ipad

Just saying I don't find them any longer lasting overall so I wouldn't base my switch on that. I have old galaxies/blackberries/nokias/etc that still work fine too
