Anybody used both 'Benefect' and Microban's 'Botaniclean'?
They are both Thymol (from Thyme) oil based, disinfectants.

I used Benefect and the Thyme smell takes a long time to dissipate.
How is Botaniclean in that regard?

Do they work as fungicides?

Also in Botaniclean, it only mentions for use on hard surfaces. Does that mean that you can not use it on carpets and fabrics?

There are no EPA approved disinfectants for carpet I believe. The CDC says you can't disinfect a carpet.
I heard last week that the new Drieaz stuff is still hydrocarbon based with thyme oil while Benefect is plant based.I don't know that to be a fact.
We have changed about 50% of our use of such products to Gloves OFF disinfectant. This is because it has a botantical surfactant too. Its coming soon to the States.
