It's easy to let things slide, but you need to clean that wand. Spray and scrub as best you can, then soak it overnight in vinegar, spray off and wipe clean. It'll look darn near brand new.

and move the furniture before you clean. You got the carpet wet around that gray, metal leg and it's gonna leave a rust spot if you aren't careful!

You might want to pull the vent cover off also...otherwise it'll ruin greenies glide.

Yeah berber will make hero's out of you... The one thing I can't understand is why the landlords that I work with lie to me and they always say that "this carpet is only a year old". I think to myself I've cleaned this carpet multiple times in the last three years what would make them think that would have an effect on me: Do they want me to feel for them? Do they want me to do it cheaper? Do they not want to look cheap? Here is couple of my pics.

naw it didnt rust...besides it was an aquarium with a turtle in it..aint moving that heavy sucker...

no the shoes dont bleed....

yes they are/were nike, got them 18mths ago in 1 of the vegas outlets...they are pretty comfortable..though they are split on the bottom so no more wet work, or my socks get wet..

and i like the extra "abrasion" by a scuffed up glide..
