What would be the best option for keeping my guys cool on the job?Right now, we use Dei-Eaz Sahara’s aimed upward at us, but they are just too big to lug around and being into my customers homes. If there is some magical fan out there that is low profile/lightweight, blows hard and can be angled up toward us, I’d be thrilled to find out what it is. Thank you in.

It's so hot today!! 115 right now. Finished the first half of my Cal-Fire job, then went home and jumped directly in the pool. I'm headed out to tractor supply now to get some little mesh filter/check valves for my Vibe. They stopped working on my job today and I had to do the entire place with my Cimex. Still made great time. Doing the other building tomorrow at 8pm.

Just blow it up at the ceiling. It will circulate the air in the room better and provide a slight breeze for your technicians.

Are you talking about the ones that are behind the T-Jets?

Did they plug up on you and if so why didn't you just remove them and continue
They leak pretty bad with them removed. We were almost done, so not a big deal. But I would rather just haver it working 100% and not leak everywhere.

Why are you thinking carpet cleaning equipment for cooling.
Buy a 35 dollar high velocity fan.
How many air movers on for circulation residentially.
None.
Fans are what they buy as should you.
Or is blowing a few hundred for a dryer more your style?
That fan can be placed top of stairs for employees blowing down.
Or at bottom blowing up
An your techs will love the eight lbs versus forty...
When setting up.
I suggest new lithium versions with plug capability.
We use ours for picnics no cords...
Brought one to beach it was perfect.
An all I got was hey where you get that .That's awesome.
No more sweltering whilst tanning...

The fans look great, but that hat is ridiculous.

I’ve just always used air movers because they’re powerful and I have a bunch of them. If I could get something much cheaper, lighter, still powerful and cordless, that would be ideal. I just have concerns it won’t be powerful enough. It’s nice when you can feel the air mover from 20’ away. You don’t have to move it around as often. I’d love to look into your suggestion, though. What model did you take to the beach?

I would carry twelve of those 19 inch fans stacked in truck .
On surge strips with long cords.
Restaurants with extra vac passes were so very dry...
That's how I started top down drying.
A fan stand broke.
So perfectly good fan don't wanna toss it.
Saw a plant stand on wheels in restaurant.
Zip ties it.
Entrance fan was born.
Entrances that resoil fast, kill carpet cleaners.
They make it easy for next guy to say horrible job .
Not to mention wet rug slip an falls, etc .
But yes I stole the plant stand also ...
Feel guilty still ...

I think the Patton fans would be good. I use them for floors. Haven’t thought about using them while cleaning carpet, but I will going forward. Maybe it will help me from catching a cold.

No portable way to small...
Patton Fans fed my family for yrs ..
Had Sahara's etc,but wdr only...
All else 19 inch any make high velocity fans .
An can be tweaked for top down as well.
But you want to feel air twenty feet away...
You will...
4 of them puppies are still cheaper then any real carpet dryer...
An 4 areas covered versus 1.
Moving them a breeze...

So, ya think patron fans are the way to go? Also, what’s “wdr”?
