You can use the "Tandem Bar" to merge two 20" BrushEncap machines together to create a 40" path.
A 40" cleaning path would be cool if you're cleaning a HUGE area like an airport terminal or a mall.
You can also combine two of the 15" machines. The 30" combo is more maneuverable.

Here's what the tandem bar setup looks like, showing 2 machines joined together...

As Rick has shown, the Brush Pro 17" or Brush Pro 20" can be combined with a tandem bar. Great for wide open spaces. YOu would probably not want something that wide in a congested area.

the 3 brushes on the Whittaker Trio are 20.25". the machine overall is 25" wide...it's a monster at over 75 LB's. i still have mine but prefer my Cimex or Liberty OP for ergonomic reasons. do a Search on these forums for Trio to see reviews. it encap-cleans as well as the aforementioned machines.

rotowash dealer in the USA?

The Austrian made machines are manufactured by Rotowash. They're imported through Carpet Cleaner America. They're sold through a few channels. The original Whittaker GLS machines (not their Trio machine) were Austrian built "TM" models from Rotowash. Our BrushEncap machines are likewise the genuine Austrian "TM" models. Interlink also sells a different model of genuine Austrian built CRB machine under their BrushPro label.

So you may wonder, what's the big deal with "Austrian built" machines. All these Austrian machines have a very solid reputation! That's the reason for choosing them. Rotowash builds a high quality machine. By comparison, there are also Asian CRB knockoffs floating around. Those machines are not holding up as well as the machines coming out of Austria.

I had a wood worker client notice the Made In Austria decal on my 10"

He was seriously impressed.

Mentioned it three times.

Guess what else is made in Austria..

So the multi-wash machine sold by Powrflite is not the same as the Rotowash made in Austria?

Yes to the above by Rick and Scott.

The original Rotowash machine can be used on carpets but it really works better on hard surfaces. If it did we would be selling them...

I have never used the Powerflite version.

All of our machines are made in Austria. There is a reason the trains run on time in Germany and Austria. They do not mess around when it comes to engineering.

The metal they use is different too. The sides remind me of the iron used on the machines I use to run in the folding carton industry.

It pits and corrodes on the surface but won't rot out. Very dense material.

Like I said above - it's an excellent machine. All the Austrian machines are well designed and built to last. You'll love your new CRB.
