I used 2 electric sprayers, but use my MS if I have alot of steps to deal with. Thing is, I can't keep a battery no longer than 3-4 months tops.

I let it drain completely before recharging, but the batteries I buy from (Battery Plus) just don't hold up.

Any suggestions?

I don't think you are supposed to let it drain completely before recharging. You are supposed to put it back on the charger as soon as you are finished using it.

Don't let them drain all the way before charging. I plug mine into the cigerette lighter after each use and leave it plugged in until it's next use. I've had it for 2 years now and I'm still on the original battery with no problems.

KEEP IT FULLY CHARGED ALL-DE-TIME

when not in the home in use, it stays on the charger in the van
Even over night and on week ends

I buy my batteries from the radio control hobby shop.

If you can't read it on the battery it's a 12v 7ah battery.

I've bought mine at Batteries Plus for about 25 bucks.

I was recharging after every use and durning off times. The fine folks at battery plus told me to run down then recharge. But never leave it on the charger.

Did it both ways, battery still doesn't last..

I will revert back to the suggestions.

I only get about 1.5 years out of my battery. I have gone through about 4 batteries. The first battery only lasted 4 months.

I'll ask Jim. He'll actually tell me how to do it.

Didn't you just call someone else slow!

You could run it striaght off your batt. with an inline fuse no need to go to the fuse box then. How in depth do you want the instructions! It will draw off the batt. all the time though so I plug it in at home on weekends...

Vincent;

You should get at least a year from the lead-acid battery.

Recharge it before it is completly discharged.

I would check the charger. It should deliver 13.8 VDC or so.
