Best shoes / boots for carpet and floor work

I go through allot of shoes. Anyone find something that last? I think I am looking for some kind of boots that look sharp, can be polished, are waterproof and have soles that don’t leave black marks on carpet or have too deep of treads that hold allot of mud. It’s getting hard to find good footwear at any price. Those Asian kids need to learn about quality control.

I've worn Red Wings for many years, as did my dad and grandfather. They are more comfortable and last longer than any other boot I've tried. MADE IN THE USA FOR OVER 100 YEARS! Get them at a Red Wing store. About twice the price of Wolverines. Ok, sometimes I wear running shoes.
