Best Stair tool with MODS

So I have a crappy prochem duel jet un-glided stair tool circa 2004. It sucks because it is very difficult to do risers and get the the base of the step where tread connects to the riser.

Stairs are very import to me and my customers and often they are the most challenging. Started CRB stairs with improved results. Always try to do them last as well.

I saw Mark's modded stair tool in one of his youtube videos and it looked pretty sweet.What do you guys use and what do you suggest?

I have about 4-5 different stair tools... If it's really trashed, I like to use my RV360i with the 7" stair head attached.... Restores the nastiest of stairs... And then I have a shortened Prochem TI 6-jet wand glided for the easier ones... Due to drippy jets, clean the risers going up, and treads coming down.... Cuff the bullnose and enjoy the instant gratification you get on a job well done...

I have a PMF swivel which is a POS in it's stock form... I haven't Saigerized it yet with 2 jets and a glide....

Not at all.... A few MBer's shortened a PCTI long before I did.... I found a cheap TI wand in Missouri, had a uncle pick it up in Kansas and a brother in Wisconsin shorten it for me then shipped it out... Total by the time I paid for the all the shipping and glide, I had $900 total into it... It does make quick work of stairs lightly soiled...

I get owned by the 360i everytime I try to use that 7" tool on stairs. One day I'll have 'skills'.

Lol, it's not that bad... A PITA taking off the head and shroud, but it does make fast work of grundy stairs...

Had a hotel that the carpet was down for only 2 months and no one bothered to vacuum the stairs... Carpet is solution dyed nylon... It's the only carpet that leads to the second floor, the rest of the ground floor is marble... Sand, grit, street pollution, and soil galore...

24 stairs were 10 feet in length and I had to use a portable because they're wasn't any paring in the front of the building... It was way better than using a wand to dig all that sh!t out...

why do you need a glide on a stair tool? Is it that hard to use?
