what would be the best chems to use to clean using the following method?

1. of course vacuum first
2. use 175 rotary with solution tank mounted on it with carpet brush
3. use mytee M5 extractor

so what would you use in the 175 and what would you use in the extractor

choices for 175 i guess would be
1. a carpet shampoo
2. some type of cleaning detergent
3. a pre spray chem or traffice lane cleaner

choices for extractor
1. just hot water (no chems)
2. a fiber rinse
3. and acid rinse
4. any emulsifier
5. ??????

any feed back would be helpful just to throw something else into the mix i also have a rotovac 360i with both the stanard head that comes with it and also the carpet brush head

This gets asked in different ways all the time but I like your approach so let me see if I can help.

so what would you use in the 175 and what would you use in the extractor

choices for 175 i guess would be
1. a carpet shampoo Dear god no!
2. some type of cleaning detergent Yes of course. My first choice is Fibermaxx from Powermaxx
3. a pre spray chem or traffice lane cleaner Um, those two are the same thing. Some companies call their stuff prespray and others call their stuff traffic lane cleaners. See response to question 2.

choices for extractor
1. just hot water (no chems) Not always but most of the time yes. I use Clean It from Steam Genie.
2. a fiber rinse A fiber rinse and an acid rinse are the same thing in most cases.
3. and acid rinse
4. any emulsifier Again, Clean It from Steam Genie.
5. ??????
