Is it really a one or two pass clean?

I did a 3bd, hall, dining, family that was in decent shape. Took me 1.5
hours with pre/post vac and protection. The same house in trashed
condition would probably be about 3+ hours or so with the VLM method.

How fast with the big truck, single wanding?

pretty hard to explain. you just have to try it. one pass, two pass 650 passes

per minute. pre scrub? some people make one slow passes compared to two

fast passes. Who knows if there's a right or wrong way. Some people clean

with the wand. Some people rinse with the wand.

However when you take 240-260 degrees ATW .018 jetting and

MAD vacuum it is two to three times

faster. Than a typical direct drive or 4 or 5 blower truckmount. Now

imagine hooking up wand # 2 to the same truck at the same speed with

no loss of anything (increase of heat) now your cleaning or rinsing or

however you do it 4-6 times faster. so to answer your question 35 to 45

minutes for the same job. with better quality.

Single wanding with a helper about 1.5 hr. By the time setup, vacuum, prespray, clean, protect, rake, dry, and talk to the customer.

Much less effort being applied while cleaning. I often talk to the customer while cleaning. Clean with one hand, talk with the other for the deaf ones.

Dual wanding is a different story. It is overwhelming to some customers.

I try to take the same for the clean and dirties. They both clean up the same. Slow HOT passes.

Do you really need a prevac with a big truck? I would think that som'bitch would do more than my dyson, but no?

It's not a matter of if it will .............it's more why would you want to.........

all you are doing in clogging your filters............and your machine is going to run less efficient............. your shooting yourself in the foot...........

do you really need to pre vac with any TM, it is up to you

less crap to clog the filter and the big truck already removes more then the smaller units

it can be an eye opening experience at times

I think one of the best tools to use with a big TM on cut pile is a CRB. If the custy has vac'ed then PS and work it in with crb. What comes out can be put in a trash sack so it won't go up into the wand.

There are CRB's that have catch basins for all the junk. A well made one will cost a lot but probably last a long time. Time savings and great results will pay for it easily.
