Grey mastic FOOTPRINTS on a Tai Ping inset ..... How do i get this stuff out?????? :roll: :roll: :roll:

If you can't find out what type of mastic was tracked in, you'll have to use the trial method to find what works. I'd start with a commercial gel solvent if you're going this route, since the Tai-Ping is a custom tufted rug held together with latex.

They replaced the hardwood floor around the insets-"Joe Schmuck" !dork! stepped into the roped off area, into dark grey mastic or sealer (put down over concrete pre-installation), stepped back over the roped off area and proceeded to wipe off his shoes on the Tai-ping inset. :shock: The carpet is a light beige-but the prints also go over some of the color-how great do these carpets hold color????? It is unfortunately not an "INCONSPICUOUS" area.
