Evan,
Takes a big guy to say those comments. Who would ever guess that Mikey the head renegade and his band of rebels could put on such a greatr show. Kudos to Dri-Eaz for taking a gamble on what could have been a risky venture. Of course not allowing beer on the premises was probably a good idea.

Pretty insulting. Did you not get a starbucks?
Mikey and Mikeys board is bigger than the swine kessler would ever be. Not renegades just the professionals, evan can keep the newbies and suckers

I think Bill was pleasantly surprised by this event... both in total event turnout and quality of participants and leadership

You know Bill, he's poking fun at the one industry leader that can take it

Pretty insulting.

actually, I'd wear it as a badge of honor and didn't see it as insulting.

I wouldn't characterize it as a "band of rebels" though.
I'd characterize it as a core group of straight shooting, knowledgeable veterans that aren't shy, afraid, nir intimidated about calling a spade a spade.

Many suppliers, distys, instructors and salesman may find that disconcerting at times because we've become a force to reckoned with.

and not a farce board that they sell any ole crap on.

I have an ability I was born with, Greg, I can look a man in the eye, shake his hand and talk with them for just a minute or two and know whether they're FOS or not

I had the pleasure to meet Billy this weekend.
My "spidy senses" tells me he's a genuine good dude
interstitially enough, so were the over whelming majority of attendees and vendors as well.

you should of been there instead of breaking expensive transmissions....

Big Billy is one of the greatest guys I have met in the industry. I just like to throw a jab at him. I can't stand Kessler and I wouldn't have been able to suck up my bile around him.

I went golfing in Myrtle 2 weeks ago, Tampa for a couple last week, disney next week and had my big standup comedy debut this past saturday. I was going to try to get to Mikefest but the flights really sucked and Fred Boyle wouldn't share a room. Another 2 shows hopefully this week possible spot at the Improvboston on Sunday.

PS I know I am getting screwed on the transmission.

Greg,
I say band of rebels as a badge of honor. It is the same thing I say about the guys who sit in the back row in class. They are normallythe troublemakers. But I always remind them that is where I always sit.

By the way where did you sit in SFS?

Thanks for not mentioning the Super Bowl.

PS Actually Greg sat right in the corner nearest the food! Pretty smart.

And don't feel too bad about not being there, Greg. I wasn't either! Some doofus in Aptos scheduled MF on the same week of our Dallas SFS and somebody had to stay and mind the SFS store while Billy went off to play the hero!

Is there such thing and a brown nosing rebel?

Yep, 'tis true, Yeadon sat or stood way at the back of my class and was by far the most disruptive person there but he did help out a little with the light switches......

I believe that many straight shooting heroes throughout history like a dude called George Washington were referred to as "band of rebels".
