I was cleaning this carpet today. This spot was black. To look at it any cleaner would simply prespray and figure it will clean off. Turned out that the previous tenant had been spot cleaning with an unknown product. This is the result. The owner wasn't thinking I did it, but it is something to be aware of. Tell them ahead of time, its education, tell them afterward, its an excuse.

could be a ultra concentrated Oxy product that never got rinsed out

kept on working long after it turned black from residual soil attraction.

the local carpet re-dye company had been in previous to cleaning to re-dye spots in another room. They didn't know this one was bleached.
