Ok, so had a brand new, tri lobe blower, 45
had a microfiber get wrapped around filter, got hot enogh water would boil off it, before problem noticed
front bearing were bad, up and down movement

Had johns custome machine put in new bearings in front
got it back,
some how, no oil was in gear case for first 2 hours of operation
put gear oil in, been running it about 50 hours
runs ok other than, the grease turns to liquid and drips out front bearings, and seams like somethings not right noise wise
put fresh, hi end grease in it, same thing, turns to liquid and leaks out

entire blower has less than 100 hours on it

any ideas whats wrong?
fixable?

what is the temp rating on the grease your using.......sounds to me like it is not high enough and is liquefying it.......that is where you are also getting the noise.....

go to auto zone and get the highest temp rated grease you can find.......

sounds like your making more heat than you should be on the front end plate. Either your pulley is rubbing the blower, or the lobes inside are dragging the inside of endplate.

I think I would contact manufacturer if the blower is that new.
