Installed a new blower with nice new site glasses.
Do i check the oil level b4 I start the machine or after? I would think b4 like you do in a car but just want to be sure.

If the van was level the oil was a little too full but when I started the blower there was no oil in the site glass, which worries me. I understand some of the oil is now circulating and that might be why it looks empty.

Thank you for your help.

Thanks Mikey,
I just realized I had a brain fart on this one.

Here's a photo of the new site glasses.

Is that a plug right there in the middle of the sight glass....
I believe that' the oil level plug which would mean the blower oil level is perfect
