I've been scratching my head for years trying to figure out what makes it special enough to require the purchase of a territory and expensive licensing fee to use.
Now, I know it's like fabric protector for the avocado toast crowd. Hopefully, they include a jar of petroleum jelly with every license they sell. lol..
Personally, I prefer sausage patties and strawberry jam on my toast.

I’ve now officially lost count how many RMH’s we have cleaned.
While Boise was not a traditional Mikey’s Fest with additional days of speakers and 100 plus attendees, the 24 or so that showed up to give back, learn, share and hustle were not disappointed. They ate well, they cleaned for families that need something bright in their lives at the worst moments possible, they went home with the Best Fest shirt yet, they made lots of new friendships, strengthened old ones and most importantly, became part of something bigger.
The house being just a couple years old, was probably in the best shape of all that we have cleaned for, yet it was not with out it’s challenges. Some access issues, some preexisting scratches in their LVP that through the grace of the Trinity, we were able to fix, some wicking (also able to fix) some things needed recleaning at the end of the day (fixed) but on the bright side, the staff made it very easy on us with no waivers, no security checks, no guest room escorts and a “please wear your mask when around staff or guest only” rule.
We had lots of no shows who signed up but 24 turned out to be the perfect number, anymore and it would have been a cluster.
Of all the cities I’ve put events on, it feels like Boise has the best comradery amongst its cleaners. Very noticeable and very impressive, if only that were the case elsewhere. But elsewhere does not have champions like Eric Olson, Adam Hale, Devin Frizzell, Charly Lyman and Trevor Shultz setting great examples and leading the way.
A huge thank you to all who supported and showed up with a few notables needing highlighted:
Erik and Monique Olson for starters, they shut down their business for the day, brought tons of equipment and two of the best young carpet cleaning technicians I’ve ever met. They also gave up their Saturday and hosted us out of towners on Saturday showing us around their beautiful town. I’m not sure what’s more impressive, their parental skills, their employee training skills, their marketing skills or their great human skills, probably all of the above..
Devin Frizzell with Fiber Specialties/ Fiber Protector America, It would have been a real nightmare to have had to clean the 10 area rugs onsite, and if you saw the video, they definitely needed pit washing after just two years of use. Taking all the heat off me by hosting the meet and great and covering the tab was also GREATLY APPRECIATED!! And donating the application of FPA on ALL the furniture we cleaned was just over the top, bravo!!
Adam Hale for being Snow White and the Tasmanian Devil all rolled into one. He took Tim and I out for the best sushi I’ve ever had when we arrived in town and was the ever-helpful ADAM during the cleaning, doing his best to teach as he hustled like a mad man. Thank you, fine sir!
Out of towners, Ricky Wilson and his THREE employees who never stopped and out hustled most everyone, Sonja and David Brown who can never be out hustled, Texas Arron who with his three square feet of experience somehow managed to not be out hustled, as well and the amazing Scott Schulte with LPM Supply who not only hustled but brought loads of fans, breakfast and drinks for us all.
Special kudos need to go to the Carpet Professor for all of his supplied tutelage to the new guys, his endless hustle, his great friendship and his wonderfully melodic snoring. Tim now sees everything that goes into one of these events and can appreciate “MF” even more from the back door view, which isn’t always pretty. We need more Tims in this industry…
and last but certainly not least. The new Boss, who is certainly not the same as the old boss but brings her own greatness (and her kick ass, ever hustling sister) to the game. Always dotting my Ts and crossing my I’s, cleaning up my spills and even cleaning up other’s wick backs. A total pro in her new game and so very apricated. This was a great practice session for the real deal coming up in San Diego.
Thank you Boise, I leave you all knowing that you locals will help take care of the House without the need for me to come back, which is always my goal with these events.

It's harder to monetize Facebook.
But MF brings a following to alot of Facebook gurus who start a page.
It's a scratch my back I'll scratch yours.
Plus they get the ability to pay it back cleaning Ronald McDonald houses.
There's nothing better then that.
Ps alot of Facebook guys do mention and promote Mikeysfest.
They're great events.
But come on do you think they can post on the world's greatest carpet cleaning forum and not get their balls busted hahahaha.

I'm not sure what you are asking.
But If I relied on only Mikey Boarders to come to my Fests, there would be three people there.
Most MB'rs know everything or their wives know better than to let them take time off to travel and come home and not implement single thing they learned.
Is what it is.

reel pro if I'm fishing maybe.
MF was fun. I enjoyed it for as long as I was able to keep up with the young kids. My back was killin me. I usually only put in 4 hours a day anymore. Junior does the rest.
