I have been using benefect for probably 15 years. It was recommended to me by an insurance company that I was doing some restoration work for. In fact, they insisted on it. Although I don't do as much restoration work any more, I use benefect as my go to product for urine treatment. yes, it is expensive, about $35.00 per gallon but I charge 4 times my product cost so if I use 1 quart ( which is a lot on a urine stain) it costs me $8.75 and I charge the customer $35.00 plus what ever my price was for the service in the first place. It's cheap if you get it right the first time and don't have to go back. It doesn't take me very long to shake it up. In fact, I can't ever remember stopping and looking at my watch because it was taking me so long. Shake it more than twice, you are playing with it.
John Olson was selling me on this stuff a little while back but still haven't come around to order any.
What did you like?
What didn't you like?
What was your application scenario?
Right now we are using shockwave and benefect as well as using a few cases of microban we have left.
but I think we will stop using microban blue spray plus all together as it makes you cough like crazy even if you have a small leak in your respirator or take it off before you should and benefect doesn't kill you like microban does.
i will say microban spray plus has never let us down and has always done its job, it is very effective but just not easy on the lungs and over all body.
The problem with Benefect is that the place smells like an Italian restaurant afterwards.
And it takes it a very, very, very long time to dissipate.
I never used it on urine alone. I assume that you'd use it afterwards as a sanitizer. However if the urine salts and proteins etc. were not flushed out, I'd think that it would not solve the issue on its own.
