I haven't but it sure kicks ass on basketball courts.

Other than Misty Graffiti Remover (could be the same stuff) no other dry, non volatile, orange base or other solvent comes anywhere close to working on scuff marks. It's a borderline miracle. Considering how fast it evaporates I'd have to think it's much safer than non volatile products.

I haven't tried it on carpet.....But a guy that's a mechanic asked me to clean his carpet... I asked what's all the colorloss/bleach stains from and he said brake cleaner... Trying to kill cockroaches... It was builders grade beige nylon with orangish stains on it...

I use brake cleaner to get the adhesive off my filter box lid, melts it right off. I'd never consider spraying it on carpet!

Man I'm going to have to start putting Tide in my Chem jug to keep up with you hacks! First bars of Fels (which I love), now brake cleaner? This is getting out of hand, maybe I should check out that rookie board...lol ;-).

from what i can see ..
Autozone brand is the only one that is still "chlorinated"....better work quick!

They still carry both types, at least 'round here.

The non-chlorinated also makes a very economical AC flush if you're replacing a compressor. Way cheaper than "official" flushes.

I've have excellent success with carb cleaner on a rag to remove window tint sticky residue... Peel the tint off, apply carb cleaner to a rag liberally and wipe on the window... It melts off the adhesive and doesn't hurt the defroster lines too...

I've used brake clean for years on grease, gum, paint... I've never had an issue but use it sparingly and don't leave it on the carpet.

My dad snuck it into a job once, the color instantly started to bleed. I spent 45 minutes doing a color repair on what should have been a 20 min empty apartment "Splash' n' dash"
