With lows in the 40's and 50's we have some chilly starts in the morning, so we busted out the new hats.

Now if they can keep from losing it before the snow falls.

I like these, we bought similar “System Coats” but I bought them on close out and paid $59.00 each for them. You get a liner coat that can zip into the parka. So they can wear the inner coat or parka separate and then when it gets bitter cold the coat is put together. Our old winter coats were waist coats so I’m hoping they can adjust to parka’s.

Even if they don’t like them right away I think they will once the subzero wind chill has a shot at them. The parka’s will cover more of their body than the waist coats ever did.

I'll get you some pictures as soon as I unbox the coats.

We wear green dress shorts all year round, & yellow polo shirts.

Australia, (co-incidentally) also have these colors as their team colors, go figure.

Because of the sun here, we all wear peaked caps to deflect the sun from our eyes.

Which is unlike over their where you wear them with the peak at the back to keep the snow off your neck.

My resi; biz; is primarily aimed at upholstery cleaning.

It's been damn cold here but is now starting to get nice.

It's currently a cool 24.1C with an rH of 71% AT 20:17

Exactly what we need with the crappy weather here, little pricey but worth it. With the 2 parts we can use them year round.

Yea they are pricy but the coats we replaced were 10-years old. So it is up from money but worth the expense with the value you get over time.

Guess I'm pretty lucky in not having to purchase parka's etc; like you.

I don't even own a jumper, but I do have a showerproof vest for the cold weather. :redface:

Don't even own any raincoats anymore.

Most of my resi; work is empties & I park in the garage/carport under cover.

Majority of my commercial is also undercover parking.

My van can get under 6'6" ceiling height, so no problems at all there.

When "the wet" starts, resi; work drops off considerably due to high humidity and poor drying times, & if there's a cyclone hanging around, forget the work.

It gets nasty cold here.

We get decent accumulation of snow 3-6 times a year but the cold will cut right through you with subzero wind chills for a couple of months in the winter.
