First gallon and a half of concrete sealer went down first day, followed by 5 the next and 2 Wednesday. When your not charging .35 a foot you have to slow it down and take your time,

It just keeps looking better and better, 7-8 is the magic number, plus with that many coats the floor will never need stripping again, I'm able to repair if needed, but it's damn near bullet proof.

I have thought about getting a nyla grit strip brush. I imagine with all the dips and cracks of brick a brush digs in and picks the crud out better than a pad would. My only question is when you say it will never need stripped again . It has always been my understanding based on my experience in the field that when floor finish is left to sit for extend periods of time without maintenance it eventuals starts to yellow. I just stripped a daycare that hadn't been done for 6 years and the actual tile was off white but the floor appeared almost like a dark mustard color from all the old caked on floor finish that had yellowed. Is there a special component in ultra chem that prevents this?

From what I understand from my supplier it won't yellow out, one of my floors that I have been doing for years still looks cherry, usually once a year I do a light clean and put 2 coats down.

Im sure if you are laying down on brick or stone a lot of the finish gets sucked up right away and the true luster doesn't begin to get built up till probley the 4th or 5th coat. I sealed some concrete a few months back and after 6 coats of 25% acrylic the finished still only looked like a matte finish and had very little gloss

If you ever have a job like that try two coats of fortify by Johnson diversey followed by three coats of finish and you will be amazed
