bright yellow wood stains

wicker furniture bled during a water damage..

Tried CTI and Sapphire's reducers along with a steamer.

only removed the carpet's color :evil:


Got any tricks other than a knife?

I have better luck with an oxidizer(without heat)but I might have used a citrus solvent first,then rinsed out well(for any residule oils).

Wicker can be stained or painted with several things, but even in a "natural" state it can leave a nasty mark.

How you handle it depends on the carpet fiber content and color as much as the stain.

If you have tried two reducing agents to the point of color loss . . .

then I would try an oxidizer w/enzyme on the stain.

Our Odor Attack powder with a powerful UV light does the best job on mustard . . .

which is a strong yellow dye.

Test carpet with mustard stain ( lower left corner) removed by carpet cleaners using that technique:
