Buddy... Buddy? BUDDY?? Here BUDDY!!!!

Working in a $1 Million+ home today, (in any other part of the country it would be 2-3, but not in WNY, but that's another topic) :roll:

Anyhow, got all finished up ready to collect the check, and the homeowner says,
"Have you seen Buddy?"

Well since I've been there about two hours, her husband, daughter and two grandsons have been in and out about 400 times, and only NOW she notices the dog is missinG!!! :shock:

So we look everywhere! In the house, in closets, in the yard, in the garage, at the neighbors, in the neighbors garage, up and down the street, drive around the block.

Nearly an hour later, still...
NO BUDDY!!!!

She was real nice about it still wanted to pay me so I could leave, never once even hinted that she thought it was my fault.

So what do ya do?

Leave?

Call later and see if he shows up?

so's he was working for a "well known" competitor of mine.......no names!!!!

It seems that there was a little shit-zu ankle-biter that kept trying to bite him....so

(his story) I jus stuck the wand down to protect mysef and the pointy corner NAILED the little shit-zu between the eyes....and she fell over dED..........so i had NO CHOICE......i laid Fifee on her little bed all curlt up...like she was sleeping.....


and left!

A few years ago I was wrapping up the hoses. The neighbor pulls out of the driveway in his big 4 wheel drive truck and heads down the street. The other neighbor starts waving at him as he is driving. The guy in the truck thinks the neighbor is waving hi, so he waves back, but he is really trying to get him to stop.

The dog didn't survive

After an hour or so of looking, I recommended she call animal control in case someone saw him lost n picked him up.

She goes in the house to get the phone number and "POOOF" there's Buddy! :mrgreen: :roll:

Turns out ole' Buddy was sleeping somewhere in the house, and didn't care to be woken.

I warned a lady one time about locking her Cocatiels cage door, but she said not to worry. Well, that bird fit right through the 2" gap in the door, and was never seen again.

interestingly, my IICRC instructors, Doug and Sue Bowles told that same story some 10 years ago.

either they were talking bout your boy, or it's quite a coincidence
