Scanning the channels tonight and caught a bit of Jon Stewart on The Daily Show.

He reckons there is an 500% increase of bed bugs, nationwide in the USA.

Is this true.??

How does this affect you carpet cleaners.??

Are carpet cleaners governed by regulations that stop you from treating this infestation.??

Hope my hotel room is clean at Connections.

I don't want to be sharing my bed with unwanted guests that just want to suck my blood.

Gotta go, I feel itchy & scratchy. shiteatinggrin

We have sold out of Microban X580, company-wide, twice in the last month. Cleaners and restorers are being asked to do what they can to mitigate infestations.

Legally, Carpet Cleaners are not licensed exterminators (unless of course they have become licensed). By acting in this capacity without licensing or training they risk a number of problems that varies as per local and state jurisdictions which have authority to regulate pesticide applicators.

This does not stop many from simply operating "under the radar" and selling the service.

I wouldn't believe everything you hear on the daily show with John Stewart.

Just a heads up lol.
