You can get a diesel one ton gmc. The question is about cost of fuel per hour. Obviously the diesel motor will out last the 6.0 liter gas.

I am not sure about the fuel consumption on the two units. But the heat on the units will be different. I think the diesel will have the butler diesel heat system. If I am not mistaken, this will get you heat to 220. With the high heat gas you will get 240-250 at the mount. Please check this out with your sales rep. I for one want the extra heat. Cause like you I am in the north. Ron
