Butler Old Style Chemical Injection fix....

This is the old style chemical injection pump....

Square block, 4 bolts puts it together on top....easy to recognize.

If they grab air, system gets plugged....some odd reasons....

The SPRING in the underside will break....and that is usually the only major problem...

Here is the video on doing the repair and spring replacement. (and keep a bag of replacement springs from Butler in your truck and some Teflon tape)

This is one of our older Butlers that a gentleman bought....had it plug up from the well water....

We did the descale and unplug.....did the spring replacement....and I last minute did a quick video so I applogize for it's quickness and what not....but have had so many questions about fixing this type....(and after full day of work, 3 hour drive there....2.5 hours of wrenching and fixing (unplugging) and another 3 hour drive home....I was in a bit of a hurry and PUNCHY!!!)

That was an old truck you sold to some one ? and you drove 3 hours to show him how to do that?

and he couldn't drive to YOU?

There were some other issues too. When I first got there I thought the cat pump had may be gone out. It ended up being plugged up and we had to descale a lot. Finally got the thing unplugged and then had to fix the chemical injection because of the problem.

This is the unit my brother sold and I owned a long time ago but the guy was new using this type of Carpet Cleaning System. He used to run a Bane.

He is a good guy and I just felt an obligation to make sure it was taken care of.

Thanks for the kind words.... And words of concern... And encouragement...

My family has never wanted to sell something... Even used.... and have a bad situation happen.... And this guy is the real deal.... and is an awesome person to have in our cleaning industry.

He is someone who needs encouragement to continue and succeed... So I don't mind doing this...

He is a far better man than I am in many ways too....that's a whole another story but trust me.... He is an amazing person and family man...

He is an awesome cleaner... Was doing amazing things with his former equipment and I see him as someone who will also give back to our industry....

So... I was just lucky enough to have him find me... Now... I want his luck with that machine to be good :)

Trust me when I say that.... That dang machine better behave now... Lol
