Hi guys:

Has anyone heard of this before? This guy is saying he self installed this 2000 model Butler in a 2008 Ford van, and it's still 100% Butler parts. Like I told him, Butler must like him a whole lot more than me, because everyone that I've talked to says Butler will not sell them front-end kits because they don't want their reputation soiled. I don't know if this is the true reason, but regardless, they do not sell front-end kits. Any idea how he got one (made one) to match? Or maybe he did'nt?

Thx,
Dale

Hi Dale...
although they can put a man on the moon...putting a Butler in a late model Ford van would be a somewhat equal task...for the coil-pacs that run on top of the valve covers would make it a difficult job....but not necessarily impossible....am i mistaken or does it look lik the belts come up thru the floor*Vortexstyle)?
Although a late model Chev swap is way easier..the ideal way is:
find a pristine 02 Chev wit low mi for under FOUR GRAND...
put a "lik new" Steamgenie in it...and have a rockin' sockin' Direct Drive for under TWELVE GRAND

I put an old Butler unit in a 1996 Ford, using a Cleanco drive shaft. This was in 1998.

Bob:

Normal Butler's inside belts are @ about that angle. I know it's possible to mount into anything, but when it's not 100% Butler it has no re-sale value. I'm just wishing Bulter is now selling front-end kist.

Thx,
Dale

Hi Bob:

I agree. Why don't we get together and buy Matt Kings stock? What happened to it anyway?

Thx,
Dale

Hi Bob:

You've got a great opreration going there. How much do you get on an installed unit now? How are you always able to find units? I'm not wanting to compete, Id just like to be able to find "worn out" Butlers and rebuild them. Do you have any suggestions?

Sincerely,
Dale

Dale..the difference IS:
Butler uses the proprietary parts...right down to a special machined boss on the blower.......
Steam Genie uses Standardized components which means you can buy them...anywhere!

It makes a big BIG difference..

BTW...i can work up a price on all my Genies the Big Block including the Dually..a nice Millermatic 220..a drillpress....a fully stocked tool box...plus every air tool made and 220 Air Compressor
we'll call it "Buy Bob Vawters life Sale".......

hurry!

i could never understand buying a new van
and not only subjecting it to WATER...
but careless chimps backing up a driveway......

find a van with a blown motor....and with the money you SAVE.....
put a NEW motor...brakes and shocks...a new set of tires and maybe a wrap

and you got something that will last for years an' years...........

that's what i've done for YEARS............
