Our $600+VeriFone cc machine (4 yrs old) lost it's charge couple of days ago, and after recharging discovered that it lost it's program. CCcompany saying we're SOL. I'm not spending big dollars on new unit. So my question is, what CCsystem are you guys using? Like to act fairly quickly ( byMonday) because I have a couple transactions to complete.

I've used square up now for a few years. There's also Go payment from intuit. I have both card readers but just square's, keep it simple. Works with any smartphone, ipad, etc.

I use intuit's gopayment. Square doesn't work with blackberry and from what I've read on other forums, Square doesn't offer any phone support, only email response. You can talk to a live person at Intuit.

I also read that disputed charges are more difficult to work with Square.

Square up has been good for us so far. Do you guys charge the clients for the percentage or just eat it yourselves?

You don't need phone support with square, It Works. Simple and low price, no charge if you don't use it.

Square on my Iphone 4 for almost two years now. Absolutely flawless.

In my case the money is always in my bank the NEXT business day. I'd been with Best Payment Solutions for 13 years before that and Square just blew them away on all counts.

I use two one for if I have to key it in or over the phone (the costco company) and Square as well for out in the feild. I would check before you stop your old one. Some of these C C companies are like cell phone you have a 1-2 year commitment otherwise they have a fee. The last one I did had only one day you could cancel or your were suckered into the next year, BS if you ask me and I owned all of my equipment.

Thanks guys, I decided on gopayment. Easy set up about 10 minutes, reader on the way.

The only reason I waited to update is I wanted to get my monies worth out of the Veri phone before making the switch.

I understand that some best buys carry square readers if you are in a big hurry. I use square and it has worked flawlessly for me so far
