Hey everyone,

I was wondering what are your recommended carpet cleaning pads? I was looking at Americo beige ones for my Orbot Vibe and was wondering if anyone has tried them out or recommend them? I used to use the HOS Agiclean ones but their prices are crazy high now.

Thank you!

Hey Mikey, thanks for the response. Any recommendations for fiber pads? I tried the launderable ones before, but I am not either washing them right or something since they get stain and never come off. I taken some to customer locations and they say why I am taking them dirty pads etc. So I was hoping to try the fiber pads to see if they work better. If it helps we only are currently doing commercial carpets.

Blue microfiber hide the soil better. I get mine from direct mop sales. Great performance.

That may be good because the ones I have used were white superzorb, and another one can't remember the brand. I may give those a try and see how it goes.

The old WaikikiSneakyBetweenDaCheeky, put your clean white pads on the top of your pile when you bring them in.. Use the ugly pads when not in view of people..
That is what I actually started to do, so great advise here. I always kept one really clean one and made sure it remained on top and just kept that one pad for that purpose only. When you put them in the machine no one knows how clean or dirty in terms of looks it was thereafter.

How many uses or sqft do you typically get out of these blue / w scrub stripes ? How many times do you typically laundry before discarding?

I think mine are about 2 years old. I still have some that are brand new. I have about 10 that I am using repeatedly. I have a washing machine at the shop. I throw them with a little Procyon and they come out nice. Hang to dry in the shop. I have done many thousands of square feet and they still look in good shape.

Somebody, can’t remember who, told me it is better to throw the pads in the dryer on low heat.

Something about keeping the fibers tight.

Might be bullshit, but I dry my pads.
