The veterans know these carpets....

Apply the prespray and it starts to hump up, wrinkle and looking like a mountain of mole hills....or Shar Pei puppy....

How many times do you panic or panic with the home owner?

It always seems to happen of course to someone who has heard nothing but great things about you...and giving you a try....

We try to reassure them it is going to be ok....it will relax and lay back down in a day after dry....or please give us a call and we will address it....but never have had too....

The main reason is improper installation. Not power stretched or in some cgd situations, glue has broken down. In one case I had in a strata condo building, the relatively new carpet buckled severely, when they contacted the installer, he said, "we did a perimeter glue down" meaning they only glued the edges. In most cases, it will go back to normal when it dries. Unless you have left the carpet soaking wet, it is not your fault and you should not be held responsible for it. It is the installers fault.

I had a 5.5 foot wide hallway go knee high on me once. That was a trip walking down that hallway, it looked like someone was floating the carpet for water damage.
