carpet problem ?

this carpet was cleaned by another cleaner

He cleaned the two back bedroom carpets both nylon came clean. ( used ultra pac )

now here is the kicker the Lr carpet is cheap olefin berber nothing he had could dent this carpet why?

place had three girls living in it for over a year.

When I walked in I knew exactly what was the problem. the girls were burning candles all the time

Just like cleaning a smoke damage that is why I always have a gallon of Renovate on the truck just when I run into something like this.

you could see where the cleaning people tried to clean the walls and not paint the unit was a mess

"Candle Sooting" is becoming a widespread problem. Insurance companies who become aware of it will not cover it as "smoke damage", but the clean up protocols for walls and carpet are the same.

The biggest difference is there isn't hot air from one large single combustion source, such as one finds in a true "fire loss".

Ladies love the candles. Expect to see more of this.

Renovate has always worked well for me in such homes as well Terje.

I did a candle manufacture years ago and the only thing that would cut it was citrus.

Renovate is a Prochem product made primarily for washing walls, woodwork, and other finished surfaces after fire losses.

It was the "base technology" that Prochem later used to make their Olefin Preconditioner (Olefin Preclean now) and Filter Out.
