Just got a call from a good customer. They had a dog trainer visit the house who instructed them to spray vinegar on the carpet to stop the Yorkies from marking. They saturated the carpet with vinegar. Carpet is now dry but fumes are still overwhelming.

I plan to flush the carpet (dense nylon) well and dry fast.

Is there an agent / odorcide that will neutralize any remaining vinegar odor?

Any other suggestions?

Much obliged.

John,

Just do your NORMAL cleaning procedure......

The vinegar will naturally disapate....Just FLUSH WELL...
It will NOT brown-out..Vinegar is an ACID......

I would NOT add any Deodorizer or odor removal chemicals...

ps..the vineagar will help with the animal problem....

Vinegar is the cheapest, most effective and most customers already have it in there kitchen to use on urine stains to kill the smell. They should use it at 50/50. I can see straight being a odor problem.
