Pump working well then..... Tech changed a fitting which had split. Reassembled and wouldn't draw water. Maybe he had put hoses back on incorrectly?? Took to repairers who said pump was knackered so new pump intalled but same problem.
Works when disconnected and primed but won't draw from solution tank which is at a lower level than pump. Have checked all connections and also bypassed them all but pump won;t draw initially. After priming goes well at good pressure 700+. Turn off and problem recurs.
Any ideas from the brains trust?

have you bypassed your chem feed/checked for cracked meter?

Yes we had recently bypassed it as we have never used them having always clear water rinsed.

Your sucking air. Air is easier to suck than water. It wont always leak water out visibly so its sometimes hard to find. Try spraying all fittings and hoses with soapy water.
