CDS blower RPM pickup sensor

Looking for a local source for a RPM sensor for my CDS. Mounts on bracket next to blower driveshaft and picks up signal off pully. Any ideas on finding one locally as I can order one Monday but just trying to get up and running today?

Does this sensor adjust the engine rpm's or just tell you where the rpms are? I wouldnt think it would keep it from working. If it does just shove a stick in the pedal.

It reads every rotation of the blower shaft to give a readout on the console. I can pretty much set the vac pods by ear but would like to have my RPM gauge back.

I need one for my cds too. Had it set by a service tech but nice to know for sure.

A good hand held digital tachometer only cost $30 or so.

How does that measure the blower rpm?

Put an included piece of reflective tape on any rotating surface you want to measure, start the machinery and point the laser at the surface, and you will get a very accurate digital display.
