dont know if this is the right forum, but I have a question about the most efficient way to clean this ceiling

14 foot ceiling in a warehouse
all metal
need to clean prior to painting
power wash is not practical

I've never cleaned anything like that, so this is just an idea, but could you fog or mist it with a product like Legend Brands Tabac Attack and then flat mop it off?

Vapor Steam with the Floor (ceiling) attachment would probably be the ticket. Especially for paint prep. No mess, no chems.

Can it be brushed off. If so, a Johnny Long arm extension pole from Home Depot with the yellow brush will clean it. I use it in Chapels with high ceiling that have soot from candles. If need it wet use a window washing mop.

its my sons warehouse. changing it from office space to retail store.

i like the idea of a mist application. Cant brush off.

scissors lift for sure.

window washing mop is a good idea but was thinking of using a tool to clean and then strain to rinse with water considering the corrugated surface

I appreciate the replies!

Well since it's your son's warehouse, make him do it..

no smoke damage?
(it's in fire/smoke damage section here)

if not...give a quick hand wash with TSP and rinse
make the first coat of paint a bonding primer (Glidden Gripper is a good product)
It can be color tinted too if your son is painting a color other than white

you won't have to worry about paint sticking with the bonding primer
(that's what it's made for)

I presume you're going to rent (or have) a paint sprayer?

you can buy a good "throw-a-way"* sprayer for about $300

Only reason I call it a "throw-away" is because the pump isn't rebuildable like the contractor grades.
But they'll last a Homer a good long time
