Cheap room freshener?

Hey guys! I do cleaning for apartment complexes and sometimes the units I clean sit for a while until they get rented. I’m looking for a scented room freshener that lingers for a long time. Anybody know of any cheap products or home brews that will do the trick?

These odor blocks are very potent. They make a few different scents. You only have to crack them open and they last for a very long time. I've put these on top of closet shelves and in HVAC vents before. They'll last for over a month.
