Taking turns between the two was a real eye opener..

The old unit has a very stuff on off switch, the wheels don't roll freely, the head spins loudly, it's smaller wheels make it less agile and that 10? guage tacky cord is a pita too..

But it still does the job.

We mex'd this Chinese Medicine College 56 times..
A manager who has been there for about 50 of those visits came out to get a hug and to discuss the residual odor left behind these days.
Turns out she loved the Tee Tree scent. The current Pina Colada smell makes her sick. This brought up a discussion in frony of my guys who decide now is the time to tell me that most of our regulars complain about the smell.... Good grief..

Rick can you make a note on my account to always send DS1 in the future, please.

Ok boys, I have one machine with the small wheels. Since I just bought 2crb’s, I won’t be buying a new Cimex now, but I will be ordering the wheel kit!!

Wheel kit is worth it and I would suggest doing it. However the new machines are a little sleeker and nimble too. Should have bought 1 crb and a new Cimex. 😉

I think i’ll Show this to my CFO, and say, “honey we should’ve bought a new Cimex”😳
The only thing worse than having your brother as a CFO is having your wife😉

Don't sweat it, you can easily get $1,200.00-$1,400.00 or more for a good used Cimex. List the old one on Craigslist and you're half way to a new one. Used Cimex's sell fast.

Naw, then I’d only have one Cimex instead of two. Selling used paid for equipment that is still running, is like selling a paid for gun🤷🏻‍♂️ A new Cimex
will be sometime in 19.

Just think, one more Cimex, two of us can have a Cimex in one hand, crb in the other, and a zipper between my legs!! #bigguns

I guess we could sit on a propane buffer and do all of that🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi Mike. Thanks for the feedback on the scent. You can always add a few drops of tea tree to a tankful of DS2. Or go with Encap-1.
Adding a few drops of tea tree is a simple and inexpensive option.

The Big Boy wheels make a world of difference! I thought everyone was running 'em by now. :confusedd:

The Big Boy upgrade replaces the zinc axle too. The OEM zinc axle will eventually corrode to the tee piece. When that happens the adjusting rod will eventually snap. The stainless axle fixes that. Plus the larger wheels (with bearings) are oh so much nicer to roll around. Turns that bulldozer into a Porsche.

Is there a noticeable difference in cleaning ability with ds1 and ds2?

They're very similar. The reason we developed a new formulation (DS2) was because people sometimes complained that the original version would make them cough when they sprayed it. That's never an issue when it's used as a shampoo, just when it get's sprayed . So we reformulated to address that.

DS2 uses a different surfactant (less likely to make people cough when it's atomized). DS2 also has a different scent (less likely to make people cough when it's atomized).

Encap-Clean DS2 is the new formula. Essentially the same performance, just easier to breathe if it gets sprayed. Of course, five minutes after DS2 came out our old customers were clamoring for their Original Coke. So we retained the original formula and named it Encap-1 DS.

DS2 Rocks.

I really like Damon Williams and his encap products, but I just can't use them. They make my son cough and me as well. I really don't care about myself, but when I see my kids coughing on a job-site, it made me think a little more about what products i'm using. The DS2 is great stuff. Also Chemspec's EncapBrite, or whatever it's called, is good stuff that isn't fumy. It just has a dumb dilution ratio. DS2 for the win.

Also, be sure to mix in a lot of SaigerCide :) :stir:

I have made a few modifications to my Cimex's.
Started with the Big Wheels, then I chopped the 50' cable and only use leads the length that I need.
Like, working on lift lobbies when a 15' lead is sufficient, I don't have 50' of cable on the floor.
I then added an aluminum plate to the front, which is one piece, & goes over the back to where I have to spotting bottle holders + the joiner box for the extension leads.
Working in the tropics, one must always be aware of dehydration, this is where the spotter holders are essential. :winky:

:yoda:
