Hey Mike! I just wanted to forward you some info we launched on CleanFreak.com last week to see if you would be willing to share it to your network. We want to honor those in the cleaning and sanitation industries that are out there risking their own safety to fight the spread of coronavirus.

We are asking for people to submit stories or images of themselves or nominate a family member, friend, co-worker or community member and we’ll be compiling everything into a thank you video to feature on our website, but also select entries to receive a CleanFreak.com swag pack with shirts (attached is one of the shirts we have), hats, water bottles, stickers and a $100 store credit.

Here’s the blog post with more details: https://www.cleanfreak.com/blog/thank-you-custodial-sanitation-superheroes and encouraging nominations be sent to thankyou@cleanfreak.com.

Appreciate any assistance!! Hope you’re staying safe and healthy as well!!

Thanks,

I am going into a job next Tuesday against my better judgement. Elderly couple in poor health, the lady just had to put her dog down. She was in years when she called. Long time customers who used to own a construction company and gave me lots of work over the years. The dog created some messes before they had to finally put it down. Little schnoodle kind of mix, cute dog and the love of this lady's life. Husband comes second. They will sit in the kitchen as I clean and pay with their visa. No contact required. They have masks and I have masks that my wife has seen for me. We will be as safe as it gets, hopefully. Going in with lots of saigercide and ammonia. I'll let you know how it comes out if I survive.

There's a panic shortage not a physical shortage of poop tickets.
I thought that at first but it has been weeks since they started limiting purchases and other measures and the shelves still aren't stocked.

One theory I read said it likely stems from the shift in demand from commercial toilet paper to consumer toilet paper with the "need" for consumer toilet paper increasing up to 40%. Something the supply chain isn't set up for since the two types are distributed differently, sized differently, and of course the commercial paper being of shittier quality.

This seems to be a good explanation for other items like meat, flour, etc

I'll be happy when this thing is over. I'm tired of turning down work on occupied homes. People are just so damn pissy.

I went to Home Depot yesterday to pick up a new grill... I know it’s a non essential purchase but I’m an outlaw

apparently not the only one tho... parking lot was overflowing like a Saturday , had to park on the side of the building which rarely happens

people are sick of staying home

personlly, I think it’s criminal that the govt arbitrarily shut down businesses , especially small shops that don’t have many people in them anyways. Many businesses have ’non essential’ been executed out of existence

I have a full schedule for the next 2 days, customers are making accomodations to distance

this joke better be over May 4

seems to be hit 'n miss ...or general areas still in short supply and others not.

most stores have been good here for a couple weeks or so.
Sam's has been well stocked for three weeks or more with their "Members Mark" biggie pack.
Last couple weeks they've had most of the major brands too (Northern, Charmin, etc)

I've heard the com vs consumer mentioned.
But don't know why retailers couldn't buy same ..it's not packaged in "retail" store packs, but don't think most folks in need would GAS if in a plain cardboard box or happens to be the gigundo 12" dia rolls

also heard some of the manufactures with the ability have switched gears to make masks too

Seems rather arbitrary too.
Pot dispensaries and liquor stores open in places, but many contractors are idled .
We have a half million in contracts we'll administer ready to go on our desks right now
..that would of started weeks ago, but the state deemed us "non essential" so the contractors and homeowners that are ready and raring to go are on hold.

HOPEFULLY, DeWine opens the state back up on this sh1tshow come the 4th.

My sam's/walmart seems to be out. (can't order online and wife says none on shelves)

No I doubt most folks would care about the size or quality at this point. In fact most of the public facing suppliers of it (grainger, office.property management, etc) are facing backorders for it.

There may problem in shelving it , pricing it, and likely getting it to begin with since they may be sourced through different channels.

I've given my mail lady and a few others packs of tp now. I wonder what their expression/response would have been 3 months ago if I asked "Hey, do you need/want some toilet paper?"
They're going to want you to wipe their arse too.

similar, I was talking to the owner of supermarket. Said few weeks back would of caused a panic if someone had walked in here wearing a mask, now its probably 60-70% wearing them

Just went shopping at a large grocery store.
15 minutes to pick up the items, AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES IN LINE TO PAY.....

:eekk:

I don't think we have been in a grocery store since the beginning of March. Any groceries have been Amazon Fresh or Instacart

Did make a Sam's Club pickup and picked up a few items via "scan and go" so no lines.............and the liquor store

Scored on our Charmin Ultra-Gentle Green pack of TP yesterday morning. Expensive stuff, 6 roll pack for $8.50. 2 months ago I'd bitch about the price and wait till their once a month sale, and very few people bought it before this s*&^show. But, we had to go during senior citizens hour.....6am - 7am. Jesus, who the hell gets up at 5:30 am unless your're letting the dog out or u gotta piss.

Been hittin rental houses and apartments about everyday. Nice, no-contact jobs. They even leave the keys out for me and I drop them off in their mail slot.

Here's new one I've never seen before..
getting ciggys and froo-froo coffee at Circle K this afternoon
They had cases of TP stacked in the middle of the floor

also noticed a few days ago they had disinfectant wipes

Did I mention they're also getting "combat pay" ?
the chic told me they're getting paid an additional $2.50 pr hour .
Don't know if corp policy or local

Our Wal Mart is back fully stocked, any brand. They’re watching at the door, one exit to control. Meat no longer an issue either. Hand sanitizer still a no.
