Cleanfax acquired by ISSA

Some news that's been a few weeks in the making...

Cleanfax and all its media assets have been acquired by ISSA.

If you don't know much about ISSA, in a nutshell this will build the Cleanfax brand to be stronger than ever. The ISSA is a giant in the cleaning and restoration industries (just go to one of their shows) and they have a growing number of media companies now.

In early 2017, ISSA plans to restore the magazine and digital offerings. Stay tuned!

I was part of the deal. Had to arm wrestle Rob to get it. His elbow is still sore

It was a project I started and then of course immediately after I did it I was contacted about the ISSA purchasing CF. So I tabled it. I will be at both ICE and Nexus. I'm buying the beer. (I probably shouldn't have said that).

Does this mean the ISSA will include more residential Carpet Cleaning related vendors at their big show?

ISSA is a good organization.

Congrats on your new direction.

Maybe they are large enough to get some cleaning productivity testing back underway.

Let's hope so Mikey. I think we miss a lot of the janitorial good just because we aren't a big enough market for them to go after.

ISSA is the behemoth trade organization behind the JanSan industry. It's driven by janitorial suppliers. And that's a totaly different animal than the professional carpet cleaning industry! I hope they'll be able to maintain Cleanfax's pulse of the carpet cleaning industry. Time will tell. At least with Jeff at the helm it will stand a fighting chance.

If you ever go to an ISSA show you will be amazed at its size and scope. Much more than janitorial supplies.

I've been to a few ISSA shows. It's by and large "JanSan".
JanSan is a different world than "carpet cleaning".
Possibly Jeff can help to bridge the gap.
It would be nice to see that happen.
