Like any vinyl-backed product there will be no airflow through the backing. You have to do slower than normal dry passes to avoid wick-backs.

website says it is flocked and can be cleaned with normal equipment and water, then in the maintenance brochure it say to use water and brush machine

the site won't let you copy and past but it says it is anti-microbial and the backing is made of recycled materials, certified for allergies

go to the site and enter some company info and you can gets lots of information

I have a fair few clients that actually use a tile cleaning spinner to clean flotex to flush all the junk out.

They are using it at lower pressures than tile cleaning, but it works very well (on very filthy Flotex) and they are doing very large contracts with it.

Another possible way to skin the cat !gotcha!

Had a local cleaner borrow one of our PowerGlides to clean a church, said it cleaned up great. He used the prespray they had given the church and just fresh water rinsed.
