I color sealed a bathroom last week .. after brushing in the seal, I waited a few 10-20 seconds then wiped the excess off.. some of the color seal would come off .. so Id have to re-apply in those areas.. what do you think thats about .. should I use a dry micro sham? I love the end result ..looks brand new .. but the re-applying takes too long along with the removal of the film off the tile ..any ideas to speed things up? thanks

Some times that happens, most times it dont.

Usually the cause is the grout is level with the tile so it comes off before it can latch on for good.

Some products do it more than others

Sometimes you have some residue of some sort on the grout keeping the CS from latching on.

Any chance it was unsanded grout?

Did you do a acid wash?

I usually clean with 12-13ph and sometimes when that dosent get it all Ill use acid etch/clean grout ..sanded or unsanded? would that make a difference as to color sticking? the grout was deep enough .. maybe my micro pad was too damp? will color stick to acidic grout? does it have to be neutral (7)? thanks

One thing you need to do is make sure the grout is completely dry. You may of had low spots in the floor that took longer to dry.

the acid just opens up the pores. Grout is never neutral it's a highly alkaline body.
