Commercial Floor Buffing and Polishing.. price?

We are venturing into the business of buffing floors, polishing, etc. We are in the processes of adding the equipment, cleaning supplies, etc. The thing I don't know, is how much is this usually charged at the commercial rate? When I call competitors to kind of get an idea, they say they need to come out and see it first... So what do you charge?

I would subscribe to Cleaning Management magazine/online to get a better feel of the business you are expanding into.

It is primarily done by janitorial companies with entry level employees.

You do need high-speed buffing equipment for productivity.

Are you talking office buildings or retail stores?
Big difference!

For office buildings we charge $80 hour, you can google standard production rates. I will look also...
We have 1500 rpm and 2000 rpm high speeds.

Gave up retail more then a decade ago, tough racket.
