In my experience it's easier to sell commercial carpet cleaning in the spring and summer... A few market segments do seem to respond well to cold calls etc this time of year though. Mainly, industrial facilities (especially factories that manufacture automotive components) & stand alone retail outlets (not in a mall). Colleges & universities can also be a great source of revenue especially in the holiday season when the students are off campus.
Anyway, if you have a nugget of information to help your fellow cleaner scare up some work in the winter we'd love to hear it... Lets all try to ensure everyone has a shot at a great Christmas or can at least afford to heat thier home for the winter if you don't celebrate Christmas.
