I think they were fired. The facility management will pay us. They manage several properties downtown.

Unfortunately they have had us out twice before from other sources. A pipe break and one storm related. The company that leases was very nice to us but are not too happy with the circumstances.

Are you not going to pull the vinyl trim? (Please excuse my newbi-ness)
Yes we pulled the cove base. The walls were saturated, you could wring water out of the insulation.

We dried the walls and saved all the vinyl wall paper. We gave them the option of peeling the vinyl paper off and speeding up the drying or take more days drying but saving the paper.

Nice job Richard. Does placing those turbo vents directly against the sheetrock dry the wall faster than blowing air across the wall?
Yes.
Especially in this case with vinyl wallpaper. You’d have to lose the wall paper in order to dry moving air across the wall. Also this suite had insulated interior walls, with wet insulation used for sound deadening. Drilling paddle bit holes and pushing dry air in seems to be the fastest of methods when the cavity it wet. You can use other drying systems but those with injector tubes are pushing such a small volume of air that they take a while longer than an airmover and turbo vent.

The only real concern is disturbing mold spores from a preexisting event. So we dry walls with a bit of caution and ask questions to evaluate the best plan of action. Questionable walls can still be dried using AdapiDry panels and head that fits air scrubbers. AdapiDry and an air scrubbers are much safer but dry slowly compare to the Turbo Vents.

We dried 5,000sq/ft office space with 10 AdaptiDry setups and air scrubbers. They had previously had a roof leak so we didn't use Turbo vents. The facility manager didn’t want the walls removed at the time but wanted to schedule it when it fit their time frame over a holiday. (I bet they never removed the walls)
