Thanks guys, I do the best that I can.
A lot of progress has already been made and now with a new Professional President things are looking up.

Tony,

Thanks for getting involved and not just complaining, which is commonplace.

I'm certain with individuals like yourself on the board , cleaners interests will be heard.

Any discussion?

Following parliamentary procedures.

The CCINW is fortunate to have Tony as our IICRC representative. Honourable guys that are willing to swim in the political stew can be difficult to find.

Mr Wheelwright represented the CCINW well.

Its difficult for a first time board member to speak up and be heard if he is not prepared. Therefore its not unusual for the first meeting or two to go by without much input from new directors.

Tony was very well prepared, knew his bylaws and Roberts rules, and spoke to the motions he made in an informed matter, contributed to discussions of motions, and voted his conscience and not the will of the majority.

He remained dispassionate enough not to show personal feelings about matters, and treated even the most adversarial opposing comments with respect, yet held his positions firmly.

In all, he spoke not just to the wishes of the CCINW, but also to all cleaners who would want an intelligent and informed voice on the board of the IICRC.

I'm proud to have him serve there with me.
